The Rolling Stones apparently still have a few firsts to conquer after 50 years of rocking.  The legendary British rock band is set to play England's Glastonbury music festival for the first time in their career in June.

Organizers say the Stones will join Arctic Monkeys, Mumford & Sons as headliners at the three-day event.  Elvis Costello, Primal Scream, Kenny Rogers and Billy Bragg are also among the artists expected to perform.

The Stones have been saying for weeks that they would like to play Glastonbury for the first time in their careers.

The band played a series of sold-out mini-concerts in London and the U.S. last November and December.  Reports have suggested that there are also plans for them to play full world tour this year.

The Glastonbury music festival will run from June 28th through June 30th.  No word yet on the exact date the Stones will make their festival debut.
