The long-rumored, new documentary about former INXS singer Michael Hutchence is finished and ready to be released in his homeland of Australia on July 4. Directed by longtime INXS video director Richard Lowenstein, the doc is said to take a "powerfully intimate and insightful portrait of Hutchence, taking from Michael’s private home movies and those of his lovers, friends, and family, as the film delves beneath the public persona of the charismatic ‘Rock God’ and transports us through the looking glass to reveal a multifaceted, intensely sensitive and complex man." The accompanying soundtrack will feature two previously unreleased Hutchence songs.
