Ruh-roh.... Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was a no-show on the team's flight to training camp in Oxnard, California and he didn't show up for the morning physical or the conditioning run today, officially meaning he is officially a hold out. Zeke (and his agent) is attempt to get the Cowboys to give him a new contract that could pay him upwards of $15-16 million a year. He's using Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley as an example, Gurley agreed to a 4-year, $60 million contract extension. While Gurley may have taken his team further in the post-season, Zeke is the two-time NFL rushing champion and currently has two years left on his deal and is set to make $3.8 million this season. According to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Zeke can be fined $40,000 for each day of training camp that he misses. Most insiders feel the Cowboys will eventually give him what he wants within the next two weeks, and honestly besides being yet another distraction, Zeke probably won't do much in the way of real running and hitting until the regular season.
