Queen has become the first British band to been recognized on U.K. currency. The Royal Mint has made a series of coins that features Freddie Mercury’s mic and Bechstein grand piano, Brian May’s "Red Special" guitar, John Deacon’s Fender Precision bass and Roger Taylor’s Ludwig bass drum.
