Eagles bassist Timothy B Schmit is getting political with his new song. He just released the track “Cross That Line” which touches on the #MeToo movement, as well as Harvey Weinstein and president Donald Trump.
“I’ve had this song in my back pocket for almost a year now, and I’m not sure why I’ve waited so long to release it,” Schmit tells “Rolling Stone.” “Then it became clear to me about two weeks ago that now is, indeed, the time.”
He adds, “There is nothing else I can say about this piece other than… the song speaks for itself.”Check it out to the right.
