Van Halen fans have a chance to rock out like Eddie Van Halen…with some of the late legend’s own guitars. Two electric guitars owned, played and partially designed by Eddie are going up for auction.
Julien’s Auctions is putting up the iconic guitars as part of their annual “Icons & Idols: Rock and Roll” lineup to honor Eddie’s “brilliant and blazing career as one of rock’s greatest and most gifted guitar heroes.” The highest bidder will get their hands on a 2004 EVH Charvel Art Series electric guitar and a custom electric guitar built by Eddie at his home studio in 1991 – they’re expected to fetch between $60K and $80K each.
