Rolling Stones Share First-Ever Live Performance of Sympathy for the Devil

Now THIS is pretty cool! The Rolling Stones have just shared footage of their first-ever live performance of ‘Sympathy for the Devil’. The clip is a previously unreleased cut from the band’s 1996 concert film Rock and Roll Circus that didn’t make it into the final version. Recorded before a live audience in London in 1968, it was originally conceived as a BBC-TV special. Directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, it centers on the original Stones' line up of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman (with Nicky Hopkins and Rocky Dijon).

Watch it above.
