David Lee Roth has launched a new online undertaking called The Roth Project.
"This immersive interactive comic is a high resolution visual & audio story that is best experienced on a fast computer/device and a fast internet connection," reads a description on the web site. "Put on your headphones. Open your mind."
The Roth Projectis broken down into 17 chapters, which Roth narrates, and he included portions of four more previously unreleased songs that he wrote and recorded with guitarist John 5at least six years ago. There is also a portion of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow Bar and Grill," which he released the complete version of on Friday and dedicated to Eddie Van Halen.
