John Fogerty has kicked off 2021 with a new song.
“Weeping in the Promised Land” is a ballad in which Fogerty, on piano and backed by a choir, reflects on some of the life-altering events of this year, including the pandemic, the presidential election, the killing of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement.
The, which is song out now, is Fogerty's second release in less than two months.
In November he released Fogerty's Factory, an album of songs done at home during lockdown with hissons Shane and Tyler and daughter Kelsy.
