Fans have a chance to get their hands on some special Beatles memorabilia… and also some TV history. A piece of plastic wall from the set of “The Ed Sullivan Show,” signed by The Beatles in 1964, has hit the music collectors’ market.
On February 9th, 1964, The Beatles made history with their first live American TV appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.” It had one of their largest audiences ever and changed the course of music history. John, Paul, George and Ringo signed their autographs and drew caricatures on the stage’s backdrop… a piece of which is now for sale.
