Phil Collins Donates His Alamo Stuff to, well... the Alamo!

Phil Collins fans have a chance to check out his Alamo artifacts at a temporary exhibit in Texas. The “Phil Collins Collection Preview” launched yesterday, featuring more than 200 artifacts that Collins donated to the Texas General Land Office back in 2014.

During the 13-day Battle of the Alamo in 1836, almost 200 defenders lost their lives battling with the Mexican forces led by General Santa Anna. Collins ended up collecting hundreds of artifacts, including a brass cannon used by the Mexican Army, and the original battle orders that called for the attack on the Alamo.

The temporary “Phil Collins Collection Preview” exhibit is on display until April 25th. Check out more info HERE.
