Van Morrison didn't spend his time in lockdown just working on anti-lockdown songs.
Morrison has a new album due out May 7th called Latest Record Project: Volume One. It features 28 tracks and will be available digitally, along with a standard two-CD set, a deluxe two-CD set and a triple record set. Morrison has released a lyric video for the title track that's onYouTubenow.
Morrison says, "I'm getting away from the perceived same songs, same albums all the time. This guy's done 500 songs, maybe more, so hello? Why do you keep promoting the same 10? I’m trying to get out of the box."
Latest Record Project: Volume One doesn't include any of the four anti-lockdown songs Morrison released last year.But it does have a song titled "Why Are You on Facebook?"
