Sammy Hagar has put together a highlight video of last Saturday’sAcoustic-4-A-Curebenefit concert, which, we first reported on Sunday.
Normally held at the Fillmore in San Francisco, this year it was a private affair held at a private residence in Southern California.
The seventh annual show featured a reunion of his band The Wabos, along with Rick Springfield, REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin and Dave Amato, and from Train, frontman Pat Monahan.
The money raised will be split between the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco, MusicCares, the Festival of Children Foundation, and the Jesse Rees Foundation this year.
Among the songs performed were:
- Rick Springfield doing a bluesy rendition of Jimi Hendrix's "Red House" along with his own hit, "Jessie's Girl"
- Pat Monahan - "Drops of Jupiter"
- Kevin Cronin & Dave Amato - "Roll With the Changes"
- Sammy & The Wabos - "I'll Take You There" & "Mas Tequila"
