KISStory; Part Two Tonight!

KISS: God of Blunder

In Part One of A&E's four-hour Biography:KISStory, which aired Sunday night, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley talked about the band's rise in popularity and how fame changed them.

For co-founding members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, it was drugs and alcohol. But Simmons also admits he had a problem.

In addition to the band's fame, the two-hour premiere also focused on the childhoods of Simmons and Stanley; the two of them meeting and forming the band Wicked Lester; the formation and creation of KISS; putting together the stage show, and recording with a focus on the Alive and Destroyer albums.

Ace and Peter declined to be interviewed for the special, but they're represented through archival interviews and footage.

In addition to Simmons and Stanley, there are also interviews with producers Eddie Kramer and Bob Ezrin, as well as super fans Dave Grohl and Tom Morello.

Part Two focuses on the numerous line-up changes; taking the make-up off; their fall from grace in the '80s; Paul Stanley keeping the band together; the reunion tour; the current line-up; and their End of the Road tour.

It airs tonight at 8 Central.
