Sammy Hagar's four Las Vegas shows at The Strat hotel over two weekends (October 29th-30th and November 5th-6th) sold out in two hours, prompting him to add a third weekend, November 12th and 13th.
Hesays, "Adding these shows so quickly makes me happier than anyone for the fans that didn’t get tickets the first time. This is exciting, we’re going to be doing this for a while."
Billed as Sammy Hagar and Friends, he'll be "bringing the Cabo experience to Vegas," meaning the same vibe as his annual Birthday Bash at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas Mexico in October.
On the Van Haga rfront, Sammy and Michael Anthony's latest video post centers on the song "Poundcake."
Sammy talks about the inspiration for and writing of the song, while Anthony fills you in on the drill sound effect at the beginning.
And Anthony has posted a video of the band doing 1995's "Amsterdam."
