UPDATE:KISS have postponed their next four shows as Gene Simmons has now tested positive for COVID following Paul Stanley contracting the virus last week. The affected shows are:
- September 1 – Clarkston, MI
- September 2 – Dayton, OH
- September 4 – Tinley Park, IL
- September 5 – Milwaukee, WI
Commenting on his bout with the virus, Stanley says, "My COVID symptoms were MILD compared to many others and let me tell you... It kicked my ass. It's over now."
This follows this morning's news that they have also postponed their Australia tour due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions on mass gatherings and interstate travel. So instead of going Down Under in November and December, they will head there next March and April.
In other KISS news, they've posted on their website a video of themselves performing during a recent soundcheck "See You Tonght" off of Gene's 1978 self-titled solo album.
