Mick and Keith; The Glimmer Twins Celebrate 60 Years Together...

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards marked a milestone in their relationship last night (Sunday).

While they had first met as classmates in 1950 in Dartford, England before Jagger and his family moved five miles away, it was on October 17th, 1961 that they ran into each other again -- at the Dartford train station -- that cemented their friendship.

They struck up a conversation when Richards noticed Mick was carrying Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records and they've been together ever since.

To mark the occasion, Keith used a guitar pick Sunday night on stage in Los Angeles that had a picture of the two of them with the caption "60 years on the same train."

You can also say they acknowledged it by playing "All Down the Line" for the first time since 2016.

Two fellow musicians were at the show Sunday --Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go's and Questlove of The Roots. The Stones now take their No Filter tour to Minneapolis for a show at the U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.

A plaque commemorating that October 17th, 1961 meeting was unveiled at the Dartford train station in 2015.

However, what was inscribed on that plaque didn't go over well with former Stones bassist Bill Wyman.

It says that Mick and Keith "went on to form The Rolling Stones," but Wyman wanted it made clear that the late Brian Jones formed the band.

Wyman said, "Mick Jagger and Keith Richards didn't create The Rolling Stones -- they were part of The Rolling Stones like all of us. Brian Jones wanted to form a blues band and he enlisted each member one by one. He gave the name The Rolling Stones, he chose the music, and he was the leader."

At the time, Dartford Town Council member Jeremy Kite said, "I've never upset a Rolling Stone before, but we are going to put it right," adding that the plaque will be taken down and replaced. "Accuracy in history is really, really important and we want it to be right. We will create a new plaque which makes it clear that this is where Mick met Keith and went on to be part of The Rolling Stones."

Jones drowned in his swimming pool on July 3rd, 1969 at age 27.
