Metallica has been rocking since 1981, so it’s safe to say they know a thing or two about what it takes to be in a band. Metallica is the latest to launch a MasterClass, where they’ll be teaching folks about “being a band.”
Metallica will unpack all it takes to be in a successful band, from communicating with your bandmates, to navigating collaboration, to managing criticism. They’ll also break down the songwriting process behind some of their greatest hits, like “Enter Sandman” and “Master Of Puppets.”
"We have sustained our bond for more than 40 years because we've learned a lot about each other and ourselves over time," said frontman and co-founder James Hetfield. "In our class we not only teach MasterClass members how we write songs and find inspiration for our music, but how the experiences we've had together have contributed to successful creative collaboration.
