Introducing the Batman Oreo, and More!

COVID has pushed back the release of “The Batman,” starring Robert Pattinson a couple of times, but its premiere is now set for March 4th. To celebrate the opening, Oreo is launching a limited-edition series of cookies, dubbed “The Batman.”

  • Instead of the usual Oreo patterns on the face of the cookies there’s now artwork of the Dark Knight and the exterior packaging shows an image of Gotham City.
  • There are also printed riddles on the packages and bat signals for a chance to win special prizes. There are Oreo riddles by the Riddler villain in the new movie and fans that can solve them will be given a special look into The Batman universe through a new digital experience.
  • The official launch trailer contains a narration saying “Two icons unite, have you got a clue? Who? Let’s play a game just we and you.”

For now, the limited-edition cookies will only be offered in the international markets of Canada, Europe and Australia, but U.S. fan will be able to get other ‘The Batman’ merch, Funko Pops, figures, a House of Sillage perfume and apparel. The full press release from DC Comics can be found HERE.
