Bruce Springsteen has released Red Bank Drop, the fifth and final monthly stream of his Live Archive. This one contains 44 shows with five from his 1988 Tunnel of Love Express Tour; two solo acoustic shows from 1990 where he debuted six new songs that were later released on the 1992 companion albums Human Touch and Lucky Town; the 28-show European leg of 2016’s River tour and more. The latest release from the Bruce Springsteen live archives features a show that was supposed to be the end of the Darkness on the Edge of Town tour.
The concert at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on October 1st, 1978 was slated as the final show, but shortly afterward, Springsteen's management decided to add another leg that ran from November 1st through the end of the year. Springsteen and the E Street Band certainly thought it was the end of the tour, as they opened up with a cover of The Rolling Stones' "The Last Time."
The show also features covers of songs by The Animals, Gary U.S. Bonds and Elvis Presley. Springsteen's archivists add that a full bootleg recording of this concert has never been released.

This one adds 44 concerts, anchored by five from his biggest tour, 1984/85's Born in the U.S.A. outing. He also included his 1986 appearance at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit Concert, as well as the complete North American leg of the 2016 River tour.
