Axl Rose joked on stage Thursday night (today) during the Guns N' Roses show in Wellington, New Zealand about no longer tossing his microphone into the audience at the end of "Paradise City," which he's done for years.
After playing "Estranged," he addressed the incident from last week when his tossed mic at their show in Adelaide, Australian, hitting a woman in the face and causing two black eyes.
"At the end of the show, I won't be tossing the mic.
"You've heard of AA, right? I have to go to TA: Tossers Anonymous. Yes, it's true. It's a 12-step thing. I don't know what I'm on. I'm only at the beginning. The first step, you know, you've got to admit you have a problem. So, my name is Axl, and yes, I'm a tosser."
Meanwhile, at the same show, someone in the audience held up a sign that read, "Axl, you can throw anything at my face. Beccy."
The sign made its way to the stage, where Axl held it up.
