Swedish rock band Ghost has released a new version of a song off last year’s album, “Impera.” And they added a guest star. Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott joined Ghost to rock out on a new version of “Spillways.” The collaboration came about after a mutual love of the two bands went public.
"'Impera' was my favorite rock album of 2022,” said Elliott. “I found out along the way that Tobias Forge, Ghost front man is a bit of a fan of DL, so I guess it was inevitable we'd both find out about each other!” Once the two discovered their respect for one another, it was inevitable that they would perform together.
Last year, Forge called “Spillways” an out for the “darkness inside us that needs to find its way out.” You can check it out with Joe Elliot.
