Not long ago, we brought you the news that The Beatles icon Ringo Starr is keeping busy by launching a new tour of the US. And as it turns out, just weeks before he’s set to launch the new jaunt, the British drummer is staying longer than expected.
Starr and His All-Starr Band have announced they are extending their summer tour of the US into the fall. And while the first leg finds the band mostly on the West Coast, the new dates have them traveling further into the country.
The extension launches mid-September in Arizona and will visit cities in the Midwest, north and south before wrapping up October 13th in Thackerville, OK. Tickets for the new dates go on sale this Friday (May 12th).
Members of the All-Starr Band are: Steve Lukather (Toto), Colin Hay (Men At Work), Edgar Winter, Warren Ham (Kansas and Toto) , Hamish Stuart (Average White Band), and Gregg Bissonette (world famous drummer).
