Metallica's M72 North American Tour, which kicks off on August 4th in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will be a lot more than just a pair of Metallica shows in each city with "no repeat" setlists.
The band is also offering a number of other attractions, including a tour featuring James Hetfield's son Castor's band Bastardane and Rob Trujillo's son Ty's band OTTTO; Three different Metallica tribute bands, Damage, Inc., Motorbreath and Sandman, and a Metallica Film Fest showcasing three movies from three different eras of the band: Cliff 'Em All, Cunning Stunts and Orgullo, Pasión y Gloria.
Metal vets Prong and Overkill will also perform in the parking lot before the MetLife Stadium tour kickoff shows and there will be pop-up stores, book signings by photographer Ross Halfin, opportunities to give back sponsored by Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation, and more.
Tickets for most of the live shows and film fests go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time, with pre-sales for Fifth Members starting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. local time.
