Born on this day in 1950, Mike Rutherford, the English guitarist, songwriter, and singer and co-founder of Genesis turns 73. In the summer of 2019, Mike Rutherford’s band Mike + The Mechanics were on-tour, opening for Phil Collins across Europe. During a show in Berlin, Germany, Phil Collins welcomed Mike Rutherford on-stage to perform the 1978 Genesis classic "Follow You, Follow Me." It marked the first time the two have performed together since the 2007 Genesis Reunion Tour. See it above.
