Geddy Lee is now a best selling author as his memoir, My Effin' Life, debuts at:
- Number three on The New York Times Non-Fiction Bestseller list
- Number-five in England's Sunday Times
- And in his native Canada he's number-one in The Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star, ahead of a memoir by fellow Canadian, the late Matthew Perry, along with ones by Barbra Streisand and Britney Spears.
This is Geddy's second book following 2018's Big Beautiful Book of Bass, but this one really tested his memory as he was never good at keeping journals.
Geddy has been very proactive in promoting the book, not only by doing lots of press, but also through his theater tour in support of it -- My Effin' Life in Conversation, which features a guest interviewer in each town.
