Steven Tyler Invites the Black Crowes to Perform at Grammy Viewing Party

When Aerosmith embarked on their Peace Out farewell tour last September, they were joined by special guest The Black Crowes.

By now you know that the tour was shelved after three shows when Steven Tyler blew out his larynx. So as a gesture of goodwill, he's hired the Crowes to perform at his fifth annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party on February 4th at the Hollywood Palladium.

The event raises money for Janie’s Fund, which Tyler founded to help young women who have experienced trauma.

The Crowes will perform after everyone is subjected to watching the Grammys, but there will be an auction to keep people awake.

Among the items up for bids are Tyler’s 1970s Ludwig Blue Vistalite five-piece drum set, his refurbished 1965 Corvette, earrings worn by Taylor Swift, artwork from Bernie Taupin, and an opportunity to have your portrait taken with Tyler by celebrity photographer Andy Gotts.

Speaking of Aerosmith, they took to social media to give love to the University of Minnesota Drill Team that won Nationals performing a dance number to Aerosmith's "Dream On"...the full story is here courtesy of NBC5 Chicago.

And don't forget.....Black Crowes "Happiness Bastards Tour" stops at Toyota Music Factory in Irving on Saturday, April 6th!
