Born on this day in 1948, Vincent Damon Furnier (pka Alice Cooper) the American singer, songwriter, actor, "The Godfather of Shock Rock" turns 76. Cooper's career spans over five decades. With his distinctive raspy voice and a stage show that features guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, deadly snakes, baby dolls, and dueling swords. I had the pleasure of meeting Alice (above) back in the 93.3 The Bone days when we had him in Big-D for an autograph event.
In his honor, let's revisit that day when Alice and original members of the Alice Cooper Band; Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, Neal Smith, and Ryan Roxie performed an intimate gig at Dallas' own Good Records on Lower Greenville on 10.26.15
