Neil Young and Crazy Horse Release New Song, "Broken Circle"

Neil Young , who will be performing at Dos Equis Pavillion in Dallas on May2nd, is teasing his new album with Crazy Horse[EFFIN’] UP, by releasing one of the nine songs.

Running over nine minutes, "Broken Circle" ("Over and Over") can be heard on YouTube, while Neil's website, NeilYoungArchives.com, has a video of him and the band running through the song at a private gig in Toronto last November.

The live album features nine of the 10 songs from 1990's Ragged Glory. And Young has re-titled all the songs using selected lyrics from each track except the lone cover -- "Farmer John."

Joining Neil and longtime Horse members Billy Talbot and Ralph Molina on the album are Nils Lofgren, who's on the previous two new Horse albums, and Micah Nelson, son of Willie Nelson.

Young says, "In the spirit it’s offered, we made this for the Horse lovers. I can’t stop it. The Horse is runnin’. What a ride we have. I don’t want to mess with the vibe, and I am so happy to have this to share.”

The album will be out on CD and vinyl, and digitally on April 26th, but will be preceded by a clear vinyl two-LP limited-edition release with a lithograph of the album cover on April 20th, Record Store Day.

Young & Crazy Horse will start their Love Earth Tour on April 24th in San Diego. As we previously reported, tickets to the show come with a physical CD of the album.
