Born on this day in 1950, Peter Frampton, the British-American musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist with the bands Humble Pie and The Herd, turns 74. With the release of Frampton Comes Alive! in 1976, Frampton became a superstar. The album sold more than 8 million copies in the United States and spawned several hit singles. Since then he has released several major albums. He has also worked with his childhood buddy David Bowie as well as both Matt Cameron and Mike McCready from Pearl Jam, among others. Peter has finally been nominated fo the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Class of 2024. Long overdue!!
