A Whole Lotta Led Zeppelin Solo News

Robert Plant was recently at Magic Garden Recording Studio in Wolverhampton, England where he produced a mash-up of Led Zeppelin's “Kashmir” and “Whole Lotta Love” that will be played prior to Wolverhampton Wanderers football club games at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton.

short video of the mixing session with Plant supervising has been posted on the team's socials.

In other Plant news, “Nothing Takes the Place of You,” a song he did in 2013 with singer and former girlfriend Patty Griffin, has been released on vinyl for the first time.

They recorded the song for the soundtrack to the film Winter in the Blood, and Plant included it on his 2020 compilation album, Digging Deep: Subterranea.

The vinyl version is limited to 500 copies and is pressed on 180 gram white vinyl.

In the world of Jimmy Page, he is teasing the possibility of a re-release of his album with David Coverdale, 1993's Coverdale Page.

Writing recently about the album recently on his socials, he says, “There’s one track called ‘Saccharin’, which is really, really good. Maybe those outtakes will come out at some point in an expanded version.”

Coverdale has often talked about releasing a box set of the album, the only one the two made together.
