Born on this day in 1951, Jeffrey Ross Hyman, professionally known as Joey Ramone, the American musician, and singer-songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the Ramones. would have turned 73 today. Sadly, we lost Joey on April 15, 2001, after a battle with lymphoma one month before he would have turned 50.
