A New Zealand man has landed in hot water over a whale of a stunt he pulled off in which he jumped off a boat and "body-slammed" an orca.
Video taken by his buddies show the 50-year-old diving off the boat into a pod of killer whales, and landing right on top of one of them. He can be heard proudly saying that he touched it and then asked his gleeful friends if they caught it on video. The clip was posted to Instagram and then widely circulated. Eventually, the Department of Conservation saw it and was stunned. They've since fined the man about $365 for the stunt. They also issued a reminder that it is illegal to disrupt orcas. (CBS News)
