Van Zant has reunited for their first new single…in almost two decades! The new track, “Jesus Christ,” was apparently inspired by a painting in Johnny Van Zant’s Sulfur Water Studios. Its also the band’s first move into the Christian music space…and touches on crucifixion and resurrection. “I think that this one probably means more to us than what we’ve done in the past and it’s very different,” says Johnny Van Zant. “It’s probably not what people may expect from us, which I think is kind of cool.”
