Alex Van Halen has posted on social media 33-seconds of "Unfinished," the last piece of music he recorded with his brother Eddie.
The song, which bears some similarities to Van Halen's 1986 song "Love Walks In," can be heard under some of Alex's narration in the audiobook version of his memoir, Brothers, which will be published on October 22nd.
Included with the post are four photos from the book — one of their parents, Jan and Eugenia; artwork presumably announcing Alex's birthday; Alex and Eddie as kids with their mom and dog; and one of Van Halen in their early days.
