The Randy Bachman documentary, Takin' Care of Business, will premiere today at the Toronto International Film Festival.
As we reported, Randy will be there, but has yet to see the film, which not only documents his career, but also the recovery in 2021 and '22 of his 1957 orange Gretsch guitar that was stolen in 1976.
Ahead of today's premiere comes the release of the trailer, in which Randy talks about the guitar and the great lengths he used to go through to ensure its safety, including chaining it to the toilet bowl in every hotel he stayed in while on tour.
Randy will no doubt play the guitar when Bachman-Turner Overdrive performs following tonight's screening.
No word on when the 80-minute film will be distributed following its premiere in Toronto.
