Well so much for Eric Clapton recently saying he planned to release highlights from last year's Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2025 as it's set for release in November.
Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2023 will be out on November 29th in various configurations, including four-CD/two-Blu-Ray, six-LP vinyl, two-DVD, and digital.
He was joined at the festival at the September 23rd and 24th event at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles by Carlos Santana, ZZ Top, Stephen Stills, Stevie Wonder, Jimmie Vaughan, Roger McGuinn, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, Los Lobos, John Mayer, The Wallflowers, and many others.
The event raises money for Clapton’s Crossroads Centre Antigua, a treatment and education facility for chemically dependent people.
Last year's festival was the seventh one, with the previous ones taking place in:
- New York - 1999
- Dallas - 2004
- Bridgewater, IL (outside Chicago) 2007 and '10
- New York - 2013
- Dallas - 2019
With the news of this release comes Gary Clark Jr.'s performance of "Habits."
