Yoko Ono, Paul McCartney and Olivia Harrison remember John Lennon on what would have been his 84th birthday yesterday with social media posts. Yoko shared a photo of her husband and their son Sean, whose birthday is on the same day (49). McCartney’s photo is of the virtual duet he does with him on tour of “I’ve Got a Feeling” with the caption, “Thanks for being there.” Olivia also posted a photo of John and Sean with the caption, “Two great souls born this day.”

On John Lennon’s 84th birthday yesterday, new meditation mixes of his 1973 song "Mind Games" have been released. The new mixes were curated by his son, Sean Ono Lennon. These mixes are designed for relaxation and meditation. They were first debuted on the Lumeate app but are now available digitally and as a limited-edition vinyl set. The vinyl edition features nine remixes and special B-sides with 1.8-second mantras that actually run on an endless loop on the vinyl’s runout grooves. The mixes also apparently use binaural beats to activate different brain waves for therapeutic effects. Set some time aside to listen to it…some of the songs run as long as 33-minutes! The digital version is out now, and the physical release comes out this Friday.
