Remembering Tom Petty On His Birthday

Born on this day in 1950, Thomas Earl Petty, legendary singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor, would have turned 74. Petty formed The Heartbreakers, as well as Mudcrutch and The Traveling Wilburys. He sold more than 80 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all-time. He and the Heartbreakers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. Sadly, we lost Tom in 2017 when Tom died from an accidental overdose, just a week following the conclusion of the Heartbreakers’ successful 40th-anniversary tour.

In Tom's memory, let's revisit what is now Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' final Dallas concert; April 22, 2017... as the band celebrated it's 40th Anniversary with a rocking show at American Airlines Center.
