Sammy Hagar is a very confident guy, but he was unnerved a bit during rehearsals for last Saturday's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony where he inducted Foreigner and then performed "Hot Blooded" with current Foreigner singer Kelly Hansen.
During a run through "Hot Blooded," original Foreigner singer Lou Gramm was standing on one side of him, and Kelly Clarkson, who sang "I Want to Know What Love Is," was on the other side.
Hagar turned 77 on October 13th, and Gramm blew out 74 candles on May 2nd.

After Roger Daltrey inducted Peter Frampton into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday night in Cleveland, they each commented backstage on Peter's performance -- "Baby (Somethin's Happening)," and then, with Keith Urban on guitar, a smoking version of "Do You Feel Like I Do."
Daltrey says he was particularly taken with "the sound of real guitars instead of all that fuzz box [crap] that they put on these days."

On Saturday night in Cleveland at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, we caught up with Billy Idol in his dressing room as he prepared to perform in honor of one of that night's inductees, Ozzy Osbourne.
When Ozzy announced Billy would join Jelly Roll and Tool's Maynard James Keenan in singing three of his songs that night, he said, “Billy Idol is a rock icon. His music is timeless. Billy Idol should be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame."
Idol, who sang "No More Tears" Saturday, has been eligible for induction since 2007 -- 25 years after the release of his self-titled debut album. He's yet to be nominated.
By the way, Keenan did "Crazy Train" and Jelly Roll followed with "Mama, I'm Coming Home."
Saturday night's ceremony will be condensed into a three-hour highlights show that will air on ABC on New Year's Day.
