Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, and Steve Vai have announced the release of their live album, “G3 Reunion Live.” That album was recorded during their 2024 US tour, at The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. Satriani described the album as capturing "all the energy of the live performances while shining a spotlight on the ever-evolving art of playing the electric guitar." The album features full sets from each guitarist, including classics like "Sahara," "Cliffs of Dover," and "For the Love of God," ending in an encore jam sesh with covers of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. There will also be a deluxe edition which includes a 64-page photo book that captured the event, multiple vinyl editions available, and more. “Reunion Live” will be available on January 31st.
