Roger Daltrey Says The Who has Big Plans for 2025

Roger Daltrey has reiterated Pete Townshend saying that The Who will do something in 2025.

Daltrey tells Britain's Press Association there are "a couple of things planned for next year. The Who aren’t finished yet, I feel that I’m singing possibly better than I have for years. Our music is very, very different than most rock music, we should keep doing it."

As for touring, he says he “can’t go through the motions. I have to be totally committed, and then if the money comes, that’s great."

Calling their last tour with an orchestra the "pinnacle," he says the only thing that's left is to "go back to the beginning, when we’re raw, small and raw, and bring back the jamming, because we used to do a lot of that. Maybe we should do a bit more of, let’s give them what we feel like giving them, and dig in and maybe we’ll find something else."

He adds, “It maybe needs to get a bit more dangerous.”

Until then, Daltrey will do a brief U.K. tour from April 20th in Brighton, England through May 4th in Manchester.
