Ringo Starr is putting on two benefit concerts to help raise funds for Los Angeles wildfire relief. The first concert happened yesterday, and another one is set for today, both taking place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
Other iconic artists join the stage across two nights, with Jack White, Sheryl Crow, Billy Strings, Emmylou Harris, Mickey Guyton, Jamey Johnson, Brenda Lee, and War and Treaty apparently set to join.
The performances reportedly feature country takes on classic Beatles songs like “Boys” and “With a Little Help From My Friends.” The concert, “Ringo & Friends At The Ryman,” will also apparently be taped…and is set to come to CBS and Paramount+ later this year.
Ringo has played the Ryman many times. Below is the video from his 2012 concert there.
