KISS Fan Pays Over $12,000 to be Gene Simmons' Roadie

Though Gene Simmons was roundly blasted for offering up the opportunity to be his assistant for a day for the low, low price of just $12-thousand (he doesn't pay you, you pay him), a person who snagged the costly once-in-a-lifetime gig has zero regrets.

According to Dwayne Rosado, "This is what I choose to spend my money on...I'm not going to die with a lot of money.

I'm going to die happy." Rosado worked with Simmons (and brought his 13-year-old son along) Friday night at Simmons' gig in Red Bank, New Jersey.

The day included a two-hour dinner with Simmons, and they also got to join him on stage.

When the "New York Times" asked Rosado if it was worth the $12K, he was emphatic.

"Absolutely. Nothing can beat tonight. It's cemented in Kisstory now, because it's going to be on YouTube and everything else.

So I'll get to look back and see that moment forever."
