We're back at it with some of the world's most deserving and available dogs in NTX with our Paws in the City Tailwagger of the Week!
Meet Izzy, a sweet and resilient little dog who has come a long way and is now ready for a loving forever home.
She was found wandering alone on a country road after having a litter, and although she has some vision loss and is mostly deaf, she navigates life with confidence thanks to her excellent sense of smell and her desire to stay close to her people.
Izzy is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and heartworm prevention, and has even completed basic obedience and Canine Good Citizen classes.
Izzy loves going for walks, follows you happily from room to room, and uses a dog door whenever she has access to one.
She settles easily in her crate—especially if a "Sniff Snacks Smoked Chicken Breast" treat is involved—and prefers to fall asleep where she can still see you, a comfort that helps her feel safe and connected.
At 24 pounds and 14 inches at the shoulder, she’s a perfect small-to-medium companion who adores cuddling and proudly carries her favorite orange "Bionic Urban Stick" everywhere she goes.
She gets along well with most dogs and bonds quickly with people, making her an affectionate, steady presence in the home.
Izzy is ready for a calm, caring family who will appreciate her gentle nature and give her the love and security she’s been waiting for.
She’s estimated to be almost 5 years old, we are really looking forward to finding a great home for her.
Further, Paws in the City is readying another "Pups and Pints" event just after Xmas day...this one back at 3 Nations Brewery in Carrollton. Check out the event flyer below!
