Cold, Snowy Winter Predicted For North Texas

For those of us who remember the “Icemaggedon“ storm of 2013 we never want to see that stuff again! That storm left all of North Texas covered in a wintry mess.

Well, the 2018 Old Farmer’s Almanac is out, and it says we could be in for the same type cold, snowy event from late November to early December  YUK! The almanac (founded in 1792) claims an 80% accuracy rate.

However, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center, the agency that comes up with long-range weather outlooks, is predicting a warmer-than-normal winter with less than normal precipitation. OK I like the sound of THAT instead!
