I'm really looking forward to the new Robert Plant album Carry Fire which comes out on October 13th. So far we've heard “The May Queen” and “Bones of Saints” both of which remind me of his days with Led Zeppelin more so than anything he's done more recently.
Now, we get the third taste, the highly anticipated song featuring Chrissie Hynde of Pretenders. Check out “Bluebirds Over the Mountain” below. I really dig it!
Robert Plant also announced a string of North American tour dates next February. Nothing in DFW and nothing in the Lone Star State. About the closest he'll come is North Carolina. You can see the entire tour schedule here.
