Night of 1,000 Stevies is Back! Oct. 28! Here's What You Need to Know!
What: DFW’s 2nd Annual Night of 1,000 Stevies: Sisters of the Moon Edition
Background: For the last 40 some odd years, NYC has been host to the party to end all parties for Stevie Nicks fans: the annual Night of 1,000 Stevies. Fans and revelers dress in their best Stevie finery and gather for a night of music, drinks, creativity and celebration of her unique, singular style. The party started small-ish and soon grew to be a beloved and anticipated institution with thousands of participants.
Why here? Well, NYC shouldn’t have all the Stevie themed fun, should they? Forever Mac is starting a brand new tradition here to mirror the famed New York soiree. Like NYC’s, we hope to grow and grow, year after year, so that we can gather all the Stevie fans from north Texas for one special night a year and let everyone show us their “timeless finery,” as Stevie would call it. We will do it every year on a night close to Halloween, so we can take full advantage of Stevie’s mystical style and vibe.
What if I’m more of a Christine fan? Um, it’s TOTALLY COOL. We want to see your Christine costume, too. Or your best Lindsey. Or John. Or Mick. Play it the way you feel it!
What can I expect? A night of incredible Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks music played by Forever Mac, DFW’s very own Fleetwood Mac tribute, and LOTS of fun and prizes! We’ll be hosting Stevie-themed events throughout the evening, giving you a chance to win prizes tailor made for FM/Stevie fans. A prize will go to the best Stevie costume, so get creative and get out that chiffon and lace! Any era of Stevie’s style is fair game, and if you want to get in the Halloween spirit and give us a witchy Stevie or a goth Stevie or a sugar skull Stevie, go for it!!!
When? Where? How much? This year’s Night of 1,000 Stevies is at Stan’s Lakeview in The Colony! A $5 cover gets you in, and we will party from 6-10pm, so you can play with us, and then keep the Halloween partying going afterward! Drop in and let us start your Halloween weekend off right!
