DVR ALERT! Beatles 'Eight Days a Week' Airs Saturday On PBS

Previously only seen in theaters.... Academy Award-winner Ron Howard’s authorized documentary feature film, The Beatles: Eight Days A Week - The Touring Years will now be shown this Saturday night at 7pm CST on PBS 13.

The doc highlights The Beatles famous Shea Stadium show on August 15th 1965. The event was originally filmed using fourteen 35mm cameras by Ed Sullivan Productions and Brian Epstein. For the documentary, the footage was fully restored to 4K quality and the sound was also remastered at Abbey Road Studios by George Martin's son Giles. The film features performances of classic songs such as “A Hard Day’s Night,” “I’m Down,” “Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby” and “Dizzy Miss Lizzy.”
