Bon Jovi fans came out in full force this year propelling the jersey rockers to first place overall in this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame fan voting with 1,162,146 votes. The Moody Blues took second place with 947,795 votes, Dire Straits in third with 613,749, The Cars in fourth with 552,733 votes, and rounding out the top 5 Judas Priest with 538,508.
This doesn't guarantee Bon Jovi will get in, but if you look at previous fan ballot winner it bodes quite well for them. You may remember back in 2013 Kiss topped the polls and were inducted with that year's class. In 2014 Dallas' own Stevie Ray Vaughan won the fan vote and got in, and same for Chicago in 2015.
Now we'll just have to wait and see. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will announce the Class of 2018 Inductees next Wednesday December 13th at 6AM CT, then the actual induction ceremony will take place April 14th at Public Hall in Cleveland.
